“Light”
Light is many, many things. It’s mood and focus and guidance and reflection. There is the light in the deepest darkness from Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings. There is the light of your life, who may or may not have a fur coat. And there is the feeling of light, that will have you float for a while. Light is our theme for the month of April.

If you live in the northern hemisphere, you’ll notice the days getting longer. The light getter stronger, creating a different kind of shadow on everything it illuminates. Exploring pigments: Umber
During the next few livestreams on my YouTube channel, I’d love to talk about and work with some of my favourite pigments. Each episode will feature a pigment, and after a few I will curate a limited palette with them. It’s no secret that I love desaturated colours and I work with them a lot.
