“Light”
Light is many, many things. It’s mood and focus and guidance and reflection. There is the light in the deepest darkness from Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings. There is the light of your life, who may or may not have a fur coat. And there is the feeling of light, that will have you float for a while. Light is our theme for the month of April.

April – “Light”
If you live in the northern hemisphere, you’ll notice the days getting longer. The light getter stronger, creating a different kind of shadow on everything it illuminates. Light – both its presence and absence – is a fascinating thing. I learned to see the different kinds of light and shadow when I started reading photography

Studio hours
Recently, I’ve been in search of a way to create content without running into the limitations of my perfectionism. Experimenting with crackle texture
There was one thing I was looking forward to after wrapping up my class; texture experiments galore! I had a bucket of marble dust sitting in my studio and almost forgot what I bought it for. Crackle fun of course! A while ago I worked with some pre-made crackle paste, the stuff you can buy
