Alto, study I

This is a hand pulled monoprint (one of a kind) that was created as a study for my painting ‘Alto’, part of the project ‘A Whisper of Hope’. Being a monotype, it came out as a mirror image of the final position of the figure. This allowed me to explore different angles.

Monotypes are wonderfully subtle additions to your interior. Its limited size also make it suitable for smaller rooms, or to be part of a collection. I would recommend having this framed with a decent sized matt; it will draw you eye even more toward this kind figure.
