Mixed Emotions / Portrait 3

In the final stage of this project, we’re going to bring the background into the mix again by adding some interesting textures.

The last layers on the face are important to make it come together and balance values and temperature. Let’s work some more on that before we finish up the background.

Being the center point of this portrait, we’re gonna spend some time working on the hand.

We’re working on the face in more detail, while still maintaining an more abstract style.

I’m looking to create an interesting background for this portrait with some ink and alcohol.

After taking a look at our materials and reference photo, I’ll show you how you can mix a palette with the colors that we have.
