What's the plan?
In this class, we’re going to see what colors we can mix with Payne’s Grey and Hansa Yellow Medium. Afterwards, I’ll do a portrait sketch with this palette while talking your head off about random things. 😀
If you don’t have these colors, you can replace them. Payne’s Grey can be replaced with a black, or a mix of black and blue. Hansa Yellow can be replaced with Cadmium, Azo or any other yellow you have.

If you don’t have or like acrylics, use oils, watercolor, whatever you prefer.Â

suggested materials
- Paper, canvas or a journal
- A big brush (1 inch)
- A smaller brush (1/2 inch)
- Acrylic paint in Payne's Grey
- Acrylic paint in Hansa Yellow Medium
- Acrylic paint in Titanium White
- Optional: a colored pastel pencil
